Porcelain veneers are thin, tooth coloured porcelain shells carefully designed and fabricated to bond to and cover the front of imperfect teeth. Veneers are excellent for treating chipped, discoloured, poorly shaped teeth or where there are gaps between teeth.
Bonded veneers are a treatment option for improving small irregularities. The tooth is prepared by etching the surface with a gel. A tooth coloured composite resin is then bonded to the tooth and set using a special curing light. The restoration is then trimmed and polished to the desired appearance.
